Here are the the comments posted by Om JOY/YC0NSI

"Final test using an amplified Astatic Mic for CB..Good reports obtained

even though many said that my voice is more on the treble CB type

quality..Average output is only 2+Watt on voice peak and about 4 Watt

on a whistle test..I have ordered the FLL kit from OM Sunil and I hope

I would be able to obtain a more stable TX/RX frequency..73.. "

New Bitx Case

We are working on design for a new Bitx Case. We also have plans to make kits with complete case for some
of our very popular kits like the Bitx,DL4YHF Freq Counter,FLL Kit,40 watts Linear,DDS and the Bitx
multiband tcvr as by G6LBQ.

This year we should see some new products rolled out.

Presented here some designs I made for the Bitx Case. The Bitx case will come in several designs to choose from. and a few colors.

We begin today by publishing designs of case as they are made.

 DESIGNS FOR BITX CASE

Frequency Counter 50 Mhz DL4YHF

We had changed the Printed Circuit Board design of the Frequency Counter as by DL4YHF .
The manual we furnish with the kit has details as given by DL4YHF.

Only one extra FND and 10uh RFC have been added . The RFC can be omitted if it gives any false reading
by placing a jumper across.

We are publishing a picture of Freq Counter Build by one of our friends who purchased the kit.

MARKS BITX VERSION 3 WITH NPO VFO

Our friend Mark MC Nabb   KF7NCF, has developed a VFO coil that uses NPO tuning.
Mark has build his Bitx version 3 using the NPO COIL .

The details for making a case and NPO as per Marks calculations is given here:

v  The main thing needed will be the aluminum box.  Can you obtain square aluminum
tubing?  I used 1-3/4" square with 1/8" walls but I think we could go
up to 2 or 2-1/2"  without taking up too much space.

v  The coil form can be  just some plastic tube I had laying around.  It could also just be
a paper wrapped in a circle and then coated with varnish, lacquer, or shellac.

v   The shaft could be any 1/4" plastic rod.  The carrier and
carrier locator strips will just be 1/4" or so plastic sheet.  All
assembly (mounting strips, the ferrite bead, etc) will be done with
hot melt glue.

v  We thank Mark for making this design and we may come up with a small kit that may fit

Inside the Bitx Case.
