Cq Bitx Site

Hi all Bitx Version 3 enthusiast and kit builders.  It has been now quite a long journey since 2002 when the Cq Bitx Blog was published. The Moto was to provide update on activities of the Bitx Version 3 Kit and start providing PCB and Coils for the Bitx.

The aim has been achieved quite satisfactorily as close to one thousand Bitx Pcb and Kits have been shipped to members from this site and my Ebay shop.

I do agree my site is a bit difficult to navigate and at times confusing. There are many reasons for this. First of all I am not a good website developer, hi hi.    Secondly many kits I introduced found a way on cqbitx blog, because most of the kits are add one for Bitx, but some kits are quite different from the Bitx, like the Bingo or Avala.   But most of my old customers do know that I sell all these also. New persons on my site are sometimes confused to see so many different items and I do agree.

I will be improving on this site to make it better for navigation .  I would invite feedback so that I could know
what is required from my end to make this site better for a new person looking for info on Bitx .

Donate Bitx Project

The success Bitx has had as a QRP TCVR  is just amazing. Radio Amateurs spanning the Globe
have made a Bitx .  Many students have made it as a Engineering College Project.

The simple and innovative design makes the Bitx the best choice for a kit build project.
The Bitx Group on Yahoo has been a great help for the Bitx builders. With a fantastic support
and with new ideas and and solutions the Bitx has emerged as a winner.

We have launched a Donate Bitx Project.   We invite you to use the Button Donate Bitx Kit with a minimum
of 11 Euros.
The Donation is done on the Ubiee Platform where we have an account.
The cause of Bitx is associated with Ubiee Plans for a Cleaner and Greener Earth.

We will look for people who really are in need of a equipment . Please so not send any request for a free kit as this is not appreciated. We only Donate a kit to the out most needy HAM, and not to people who can afford it.  This project is for people who are Radio Amateurs and who may be disabled and poor to afford a kit.

What ever contributions come through the project will only be given as Donation.

Bitx In Japan & Brazil

In the last two months there was a lot of interest developed by Japanese Hams for the Bitx Version 3 Kit, and a few kits were shipped. I would be anxious to have any updates and post them on CQ BITX
Our friend from Brazil Om Celso is a very keen home brewer and has already started his Bitx. I congratulate PY2FDX Celso from Brazil and posting some pictures which he has been kind in sending.

15 Watts With Bitx Vr 3 Linear

Om Farhan had posted some interesting details on increasing the power output in the
Linear of Bitx Version 3. More info can be found out by viewing post on 15 watts linear
in Yahoo Bitx forum.

The present mod is very simple and with a 12 V battery that is effectively 13.5 volts
would give a output of 15 watts. With a 24 V DC supply the output may be higher .
The circuit with mods is being published here for Bitx members.

Kindly make the mods and give your feedback.
